For the second year in a row, Access sponsored the Queensland Young Achiever Awards. On May 5 the winners were announced at Royal on the Park in Brisbane. The winner of the Access and Multicultural Youth Queensland Cultural Diversity award was Tamara Richardson, who founded PACE 48, a regional, multinational youth-led movement promoting access to cultural education across 48 Asia Pacific countries. PACE 48 facilitates cross-cultural and intercultural relations with the youth of the Asia Pacific and currently has 115 volunteers with a weekly reach of over 22,000. The awards were another great event identifying and acknowledging the work and contributions of some amazing young Queenslanders, and we would like to congratulate Tamara on this fantastic achievement.
