The Access women's program Super Sisters recently finished for the year, with its last day a picnic at the Mt Cootha Gardens. The program aims to support women in their education and future careers and this group enjoyed making new friends, learning new skills and identifying new strengths. During their fun-filled program, which included sessions with Refugee and Immigration Legal Service (RAILS), Say It Now, TAFE QLD and finding second-hand corporate clothing from Suited to Success, the women discovered that amongst the thirteen of them, a whopping 45 languages could be spoken. At the end of the picnic there were a few tears, but the group parted with a strong interest in participating in more activities together in the future.
