SAFE | A White Ribbon Day Event
Tackling domestic and Family Violence (DFV) within CALD communities, and supporting those individuals who have been affected, remains a complex area. Here at Access we believe it requires a whole-of-community approach.
On Friday, November 24 Access is hosting SAFE, a White Ribbon Day event at The Access Gateway from 10am to 12pm.
SAFE will be an informative morning tea and community forum where members of Logan’s CALD communities will have the opportunity to learn more about the various organisations working within the DFV area and support services available to them, through presentations delivered by six local service providers, including Access’ 99 Steps program.
The Sharing Strength Toolkit, designed to assist service providers and organisations to engage CALD communities experiencing DFV will also be launched at SAFE.
We hope you can join us at SAFE, as we continue to break down the barriers that hamper DFV affected CALD communities from breaking free of their abuse.
You MUST RSVP to attend.
