As part of Queensland Small Business Week, the Access Queensland Migrant Small Business Expo (QMSBE) was held on May 17-18 in both Brisbane and Logan and was a huge hit with those looking to start their own small business. The free, information-packed expo, featured keynote speakers David Ferreira and Fady Hanna, valuable panel discussions on finance, tax, business obstacles and marketing, and the opportunity to network and visit many different stalls, which provided insight and expertise into the world of small business in the Australian landscape. With more than 500 people attending over the two days, we received a lot of positive feedback and were pleased once again to be able to further stimulate and support migrant entrepreneurship in Queensland.
