The MYAN (Multicultural Youth Advocacy Network) National Conference took place on 23 and 24 November 2017 at Melbourne University and Access was fortunate enough to send a few staff members along. The conference provided a great opportunity for young people, industry experts, practitioners and policy makers to come together for the 2 days and share experiences, come up with creative ideas and solutions, as well as influence future practice and policy. Our own young people, Mohammad Javir and Grace Akaraki both played an active role in the conference through the panels, group discussions and documentaries. Our staff came back energised, inspired and equipped to continue making a difference and provide opportunities for young people to be heard.
