Logan Celebrates Queensland Day
You're invited to join us on Friday 8th June as we celebrate Queensland Day and the sporting lifestyle that Queenslanders love so much!
The free family sports day, hosted by Access in partnership with the Queensland Government and Multicultural Sports Club, will display the cultural diversity of the Logan region, celebrating the 217 cultural groups that call the region home. The event will bring together members of the community to celebrate their state’s rich cultural diversity, the people that call it home and the things that make them proud to be Queenslanders.
The afternoon will feature some of Queenslanders' favourite sports including Rugby, Football (Soccer) and Netball, as well as circus games (sack race, egg and spoon races, etc) and local sporting clubs to let you know what opportunities exist in the area to get involved in your favourite sport, or help you find a new one. Plus of course, face painting and kids' activities for the little ones.
The day is free to attend and will also feature a free Queensland BBQ.
We look forward to seeing you there!
