Children aged 2-6 are enjoying the feeling of slime between their fingers and seeing chemical reactions for the first time at our new program, the Little Scientists Initiative. Held in partnership with Jobs Queensland and Parents Next, the program provides an interactive science experience for young children to help them learn more about how the world works. The Little Scientists Initiative has been developed to both improve children’s skills and interest in learning prior to school commencement and to help support parents who are disengaged from support services and not utilising educational programs. Run every Thursday and Friday 11:30-1pm during school terms at The Access Gateway (91 Wembley Rd Logan Central), Little Scientists is an ideal referral pathway as it creates an interactive learning experience for both parent and child.
