October 9 12-2pm Harmony Place, 30 Shottery St, Yeronga

Our centre for multicultural mental health and wellbeing, Harmony Place, is inviting you to join us for a FREE community lunch as we shine a light on mental health & wellbeing, as part of Mental Health Week (8-14 October). Individuals and families are invited to come together in a safe space to raise awareness and learn more about the issues that affect so many. Enjoy meeting new people, find out about available support services and learn about wellbeing workshops run regularly by Harmony Place. The event will bring the community together to challenge the stigma of mental health and will include live music, guest speakers sharing their journey, information sessions and a free lunch.

Harmony Place supports CALD individuals and communities, including migrants and refugees, who are experiencing mental health concerns, with a focus on wellbeing and recovery. In addition to this, we run free classes to promote wellbeing and strengthen the community, including English classes and a self-run women’s activity day focusing on tai chi, card making and art classes. Come along to find out more. To RSVP, email [email protected].
