Hosted by BEMAC and Access, a free celebration of diversity took place under the stars in Reddacliff Place on Friday, 1 September. Featuring a dynamic line-up of Brisbane's finest culturally diverse musicians, Brisbane locals were able to dive into the magical diversity of the state at this closing event of Queensland Multicultural Month. [email protected] was a family-friendly event where, to the pounding rhythms of Africa, sweet sounds of the Middle East, exotic India and Pacific Islands, people could come together over international cuisine, get free henna tattoos, 5-minute massages and have their name written in Chinese calligraphy to celebrate diversity. It was supported by the Queensland Government.
