To mark Queensland Multicultural Month, Access' Arts and Culture-arm BEMAC once again took to the road with a cast of superb multicultural musicians, traversing regional Queensland with messages of inclusion and community harmony. Culture Train 2017 featured Ajak Kwai from Sudan, Dheeraj Shrestha from Nepal, Mario Conde from Bolivia, Clara Domingo from Spain, Dya Singh from India and Liam Morton from Australia. They were led by proud Aboriginal woman Suzanne Thompson, 4000km across regional Queensland from ocean to outback, performing in 14 locations to remote audiences who often do not have the opportunity to experience cultural performances of this calibre, including Winton, Longreach, Chinchilla and Murgon.
