The Access Community Education Team recently held another of their ‘Citizenship Information Sessions’, a workshop run to provide information about the test to clients looking to formally join our great nation. The session was tailored to Burmese clients and with an attendance of 30; there was a great energy in the room. The one-day workshop included a session practising the test on the computer, an Aussie-themed morning tea of ANZAC biscuits and lamingtons and interactive games to help with the comprehension of the test. Our amazing Community Language Assistant Angie was also on hand to assist clients with any questions they had. Due to the popularity of these sessions, the team are delivering these sessions once a week for the month of November.” For more information, contact Monica on [email protected]
